Rules & Regulations
These policies keep the water safe, clean, and fair for every swimmer at Swimmer Monir Fokir Swimming Complex. They apply to every member, coach, and visitor at the complex, without exception.
Before you enter
Entry & Membership
- Only registered members with a valid ticket, ID card, and membership card are allowed entry.
- Members must sign the register before and after every swim.
- No visitors are allowed on deck without a valid ticket.
- Membership may be cancelled at any time for security reasons, without prior explanation.
Getting ready
Attire & Hygiene
- Proper swimming attire is mandatory. Swim caps are required for long hair; bikinis are not permitted.
- Showering before and after entering the pool is mandatory.
- Shoes are not allowed inside the pool area — use the designated areas provided.
- Anyone unwell is asked not to swim, including with a skin condition, a cough, or a cold.
- Spitting or otherwise polluting the pool water is strictly prohibited.
While you swim
In the Water
- Follow all instructions from coaches and lifeguards at all times.
- Diving is prohibited for non-swimmers.
- Beginners should not enter deep water unsupervised.
Around the complex
Conduct & Facility
- Outside food is not allowed on the deck or in the pool area.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the complex.
- Maintain discipline — legal action may be taken against disorderly behavior.
- Misconduct may result in temporary suspension of membership.

Swimming is undertaken at your own risk. Swimmer Monir Fokir Swimming Complex does not accept compensation claims for accidents, injury, loss of life, or damages, and is not responsible for lost or stolen valuables.
